At Kew Garden, we first went to the first greenhouse, which had many tropical plants. Tropical plants are usually taller and have more tree species than temperate plants because the abundant rainfall and sunshine in tropical climates make these plants grow more vigorously. So entering the greenhouse was like entering a tropical jungle.

In addition to orchids, there were many cacti inside the orchid exhibition, which was a bit confusing as to why cacti were included in the same exhibit with orchids, since their growing conditions are different. The orchid exhibition was particularly large and different areas also featured various animals, with the orchid patterns or shapes in each area related to the corresponding animal.

The Hive at Kew Gardens is a large hive-shaped installation designed by British architect Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan and British artist Wayne Hemingway, which opened in 2016.
The structure is 15 meters tall and is made up of 44,000 aluminum panels, with 250 LED lights and 40 speakers inside. It was inspired by the structure of bee hives and the social organization of bees, with the aim of showcasing the importance of bees in the environment and the workings of their society to the public.
Visitors to The Hive can hear simulated bee communication sounds and vibrations, and can experience a simulated bee life. In addition, the lighting and music in The Hive change in response to the real-life activities of bees, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the bee's way of life and the importance of their ecosystem.

And finally, one of my favourite chairs in kewgarden.
